    Led the setting up on the commercial financing - equipment leasing and financing businesses for Avco Financial services (division of US Multinational Textron) and the Associates India – as the India country business manager. Eventually the business got taken over by Citigroup – and worked in different roles with Citi  across India and overseas

•    Worked across the complete spectrum of equipment leasing & commercial financingoperations, working across origination, credit and client development and collections, documentation, collections on an end to end basis, restructuring, legal, repossession & asset sale, etc

•  Was EVP & COO with Citigroup setting up a large BPO delivery centre in India and subsequently with TCS led the establishment of delivery center at Philippines.

Eventually heeded the Customer Interaction & experience practice for TCS BPO operations globally

•  Served on the Board of Directors of subsidiary companies of Citigroup and TCS - including  stints as Chairman of Audit subcommitte
